GRAND PRIX PINOCHLE - 2010 RULES / FORMAT
Note: There will be an OPTIONAL "meet and greet" (mini tournament) on Friday night, Nov. 6th from 7 - 11 PM (four rounds) for any players who might be interested. The entry fee FOR THE WARM UP TOURNAMENT is $20, with 100% return to the Prize Fund.

THE MAIN EVENT WILL CONSIST OF 10 ROUNDS OR GAMES, TOTAL POINTS FORMAT
Each round will be to 500 with progressive scoring
ROUNDS WILL BE ONE HOUR EACH, WITH A 15 MINUTE BREAK AFTER EACH ROUND
ROUND 1 STARTS PROMPTLY AT 9:45 A.M., FOLLOWED BY ROUND 2
ROUNDS 3, 4, 5 WILL BE PLAYED AFTER LUNCH (1.5 hours allowed for meals)
ROUNDS 6, 7, 8 WILL BE PLAYED AFTER DINNER (1.5 hours allowed for meals)
Rounds 9, 10 WILL BE PLAYED ON SUNDAY MORNING STARTING AT 9:30 A.M.
(Awards will be after the conclusion of Round 10)
A schedule will be posted by the Tournament Director
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament will consist of 10 games of one hour duration each. Each game will have a strict 1 hour time limit. Tournament standings will be determined by total points at the end of the 10 rounds
Attending a live event can be such a rewarding experience. Meet people that you have played with on line. All events have a wide variety of men and women, young and old. It can be a great week-end getaway.
With the new APA (on-line) tourneys at "iplay", it is possible to win those entry fees and also hotel expenses !! Don't miss out on the fun and prizes.
